It is unfortunate that the Lindbergh School District Board thinks they can circumvent the accepted practices and state law by denying the teachers in that district the right to bargain working conditions (according to the Summer 2009 Something Better page 2 report by MNEA President Chris Guinther). This action could signal a precedent that would be very dangerous for us all. We need to keep vigilant as to the results of this move.
