Please become a fan of the feature film I'm involved with, The Mooring http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Moorin g/81984689079

I am so uninspired lately. This year has been terrible for that - this whole last year actually. I attribute some of it to being distracted with work (which has been awesome), but not all of it. There's some kind of ... ennui ... I have about writing right now...

Thanks to lilacfield for the meme.Have you ever seen/filled this meme? No, which is a pleasant surprise.Ideas: Where the hell do they come from? Good question...

I've been so deliquent with this LJ and I feel bad.I haven't been writing for over a month. My grandma passed away and we've had so much to take care of and I really got out of the writing groove...

A book meme - join me, won't you?1) Which book has been on your shelves the longest?Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever.2) What is your current read, your last read and the book you’ll read next?Current: Firestorm by Iris JohansenLast: The Last Hostage by John J...

I haven't been doing much original fic writing lately. I'm totally getting back into fan fic again, which is nice since I struggled so much for the last half of last year. Part of that was my fear of ruining a canon character...

So I finished my 50,000 words on Day 17, I finished my novel on day 20. I aimed to keep writing, but a week of concerts and hockey games derailed that, and I haven't been able to get back to it. There's definitely something to be said for competition and being part of a group effort at writing...

I crossed the finish line yesterday, but I'm not done the story. I'm really trying to keep up the momentum and keep writing until I'm done, but I soooo want to just have a break. That is the worst thing I could do, because picking it up again would be awful.

Nanowrimo. Day 13.So I'm ahead in my word count. By the calendar, I should be at 21,667 words by the end of the day today. So far I'm at 33,552. Yes, that's ahead by about a week. I'm finally beginning to feel like I am writing a novel...

14,575 / 50,000(29.1%) And that's without doing my writing for today.I realize I've been total fail as far as updating like I usually do. I'm ahead in word count (barely, for me lol) but I feel like I'm just dragging my feet through the story...

I am very unprepared.I have the loosest of outlines, and just chose my character's last name a little while ago. I also haven't given her an astrological sign yet (my male protagonist is a Scorpio; Nov 5th). She needs to be a fire sign, I think. I'm leaning towards Sagittarius. Maybe December 12th...

I so fail.I got really into Nano plotting a few weeks ago, then it just died and I haven't touched it since. The idea is good ... I think I can hit 50K with this. I have a very general outline for the whole thing, too. But I haven't plotted anymore succinctly than that...

In list form, because I like that.1) I am doing well with Nano ideas and plotting. I am writing a fan fic, so I only have to worry about a small amount of original and new characters. The plot is coming together nicely...

So Nanowrimo sign ups are supposedly today (I say supposedly because the site is down, probably because everyone knows this already lol). I am toying with two Nano ideas, I haven't decided which to focus on.So ... that being said, I have two ideas. I'm really not sure which way I'd go...

If anyone here is interested, I have a novel I want to post up and get feedback on. To protect my publication rights, it'll be posted under a friends-lock.It's a prequel to Brookline University, and focuses on Joy, Libby and Angel as they grow up in the foster system...

So a friend of mine gave me some writing exercises he found in a magazine, since I'm having trouble writing. It's not the writing part, it's the writing something GOOD part lol. I just seem to be writing really flat and lifeless things lately, and I don't know why. I'm not enjoying it...

Oh, God, I am so tired.Due to work and a few projects I was working on for other people, I didn't get a chance to sit down and crack open my book until Sunday morning. I had 22 chapters to edit by tonight...
