I am a pediatric nurse who by being part of a study in which I recevied a chickenpox vaccine developed an autoimmune problem. I went to the vaccine court and because it was a study the Univeristy unfroze prevaccine specimens. I had a low immunlevel prevaccine which made it contraindicated for me to receive the vaccine. we do not test children... See More for this even though we know 10-15% are not immune compent by the 12-15 moth age the live attenuated vaccines are recommeded. even though all expets agreed it was contraindicated for me to be vaccinated and the CDC even said my theory that the vaccine provked the autoimmune disease was reasonable and biologically plausible, the Court would not site the vaccine and we continue to mandate vaccinations without proper objective assesment. I only found out because I had frozen prevaccine specimens. I took a provisional patent in anger for this casual acceptance that some children will suffer from vaccines for the gretaer public good. The patent is for a simple reagent strip that would show whether the child is immune competent and objectively ready for these potentially dangerous live weakened virsuses. I would like to help any way I can because as a nurse I ahve been witness to the ignorance of the medical community since the vaccine court protects the manufacturer and the doctor from any liability and thus unfortunatley any interest in getting to the bottom of this mess!!
