Martin Arthur Fleming Good luck Gov. Douglas. I will hate to see you go. You have been the one who has check the VT legislature from turning VT into a mini-California. But now it is time who let the Dem controled legislature screw up royally and piss off the voters in VT. That is the only way the Republicans are ever going to regain power in VT.

Michele I just heard, Governor Douglas, that we are losing you in 2010. Thank you for everything you have done as our governor, we have been so proud. And thank you for being the down to earth person you are. It is not very many people who can say they were able... to sit down with their governor and tell him exactly what you ...feel. I feel privileged to have had that opportunity many times. I for one will miss you and your dry sense of humor. Best of luck in your future.
