Jim Matthews For Kershaw County Sheriff The Elgin Catfish Stomp was a huge hit. The Matthews for Sheriff float won a first place trophy and by the looks on 99% of the parade watchers faces, they thought it was a hit too. About the only angry faces we saw were from people wearing another candidate's shirts. No need to be angry. This is America. We can disag...ree on candidates without getting mad. At least that's the way I feel.
Jim Matthews For Kershaw County Sheriff Due to predicted cold, wet weather and in deference to families witih small children, the Haig's Creek cookout is being postponed. We will re-schedule for sometime in January. We hope to see you then.
Jim Matthews For Kershaw County Sheriff This Saturday from 3-5pm, weather permitting, we will be having a cookout in Haig's Creek which is off White Pond Rd. in Elgin. We will have food and drinks and one of those blow up thingies for kids to jump in/on. All of my supporters who live in KC are invited. Bring your video camera as we anticipate some interestin...g situations to videotape. :>) We will be at the 1st house on the left as you go into Haig's Creek.
