Personal Information:	This is the public Facebook page for writer/director John August. His most recent film is The Nines, now available on DVD. (At least in North America.) As a writer, John's credits include Go, Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, both Charlie's Angels movies, and Titan A.E.
Personal Interests:	John supports FOMO, a British charity which runs 10 orphan centers in Malawi. Check out the photos in the gallery. You can find more information at fomo.us He'd also really like to get married, which is one reason he supports Let California Ring, a coalition of groups trying to bring about marriage equality. He spends way too much time at the computer. But when he's not there, he enjoys travel.

Hey, John, I can't wait for the Captain Marvel ("Shazam!") movie! FINALLY just got around to watching Charlie/Choc.Factory and it made me very happy to know that you're handling the scripting for Capt. Marvel! Glad to see a fellow Drake alum make it big (other than Steve Allen, Mark DeCarlo, and as you pointed out to me, Jeremy Piven).
