The B.C. government has confirmed it spent almost $1 million of taxpayers' money on 3,200 prime seats at the upcoming 2010 Winter Games for MLAs and cabinet minister to host visiting politicians, dignitaries and business leaders.

These games are solely for the wealthy and the winning athletes (who will get rich from commercials)...they are not for the ppl of BC, or Canada, the everyday Joe! We are robbing from the children of broken families, the homeless, the disabled, and the health of our communities on a daily basis to feed the egos of a few wealthy dinks. Shame!!!

John Horgan says the BC government’s latest move to increase revenues comes at the expense of our most vulnerable seniors. According to the Minister of Health, 75% of those living in residential care will pay more and those with annual incomes of only $22,000 will see their rates increase by nearly $2,000. After cutting community groups and schools, the government is now moving on to making life more difficult for seniors.

I thought that the Auditor General's Office was responsible for this...but then again what am I thinking??!! Campbell hasn't properly funded the AOG for years so that he wouldn't have them checking out his P2P schemes and sell-off of public assets to his buddies.
