Please Mr Key have the strength of character to STOP this ETS Legislation before it goes any further. There are far more important issues that need urgent attention. I, like many New Zealanders cannot understand why the rush, what is the urgency? Is this really the best course of action for the citizens of New Zeala...nd - is this the very best way to tackle New Zealand's environmental issues. What is my three year old grandson going to gain from this legislation - or are you putting a huge financial weight upon his shoulders. If they had a cheap place to go they would get off the streets. I mean if i want to go test out a car i have to book in to pukekohe, cant afford it. The government would save alot more money and police time if they provided a place for the kids to play. Boy racers. Most of us hate them, especialy the police, but they have been around since the 60's, just about every guy i know in his 40's owned a nice old big block V8 and enjoyed doing doughnuts, burnouts and having races with their mates. Yeah sure kids have turboed cars now, mainly because the law states that they c...an only have a 2 litre car if they want insurance. If you dont want these kids on the street causing problems create an environment for them to race, do burnouts, and destroy their cars, theyre only letting off steam and showing off their beats to their mates.Več
