John Marston S’abadeb – The Gifts: Pacific Coast Salish Art and Artists makes its Canadian premiere at the Royal BC Museum November 20, 2009 to March 8, 2010. The exhibition showcases works of art from the Salish First Nations of BC and Washington State – historic sculpture, basketry and weaving are displayed alongside contemporary... artworks to emphasize the ongoing vitality of today’s Salish artistic traditions.

John Marston Luke was comissioned by Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation and the First People’s Heritage, Language and Culture Council to carve a Pole signifying unity.
This "Healing Pole" will be added to the Government Houses expanding collection.
