could you please do an editorial on CCSVI its the new breakthrough in MS. Dr Zamboni an italian vascular surgeon hypotheses that venous blocakges in vessels allowing blood drainage from the brain could be responsible for the disease.http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20091120/MS_W5_091120/20091120?hub=TopStoriesV2

New opinions and research are presented to our sophisticated audiences. Even though we call them "advanced study," these educational events are designed for the benefit and... enjoyment of those just beginning on the road to better health, as well as medical and nutrition professionals. Nor are participants expected to have attended a 10-day program before coming.

February's distinguished speaker line-up includes:

- JOHN MACKEY, CEO WHOLE FOODS MARKETS,

- NEAL BARNARD, M.D., founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), and president of The Cancer Project, and

- RORY FREEDMAN author of the #1 NY Times bestseller "Skinny Bitch".

Dr. McDougall, your video on the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine's Cancer Project changed my life and that of my family. My mother was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer three years ago and that video spurred me to gain a better understanding of a whole foods, plant based nutrition plan. I love your straightforward, no BS, approach to medical care. Many thanks.

Lifestyle Medicine...diet and a plant based diet does matter! Three years and six months ago I became a vegan at age 70. I am a McDougaller and my wife, Bev, says I am a missionary for Dr. McDougall and Lifestyle Medicine. I have been able to get off of all prescription drugs...no more atenolol for diabetes, no more lipitor for cholesterol and no more meds for high blood. I'm down from 280 lbs to 195 lbs. Thanks, Dr. McDougall.

why not study a country that has almost no breast cancer and see what they eat? or is that too simple. NO one this morning on GMA suggested that the HIGH fat American diet may be causing cancers. wonder why they did not mention that? can not see the forrest for all those trees, maybe.

the American Food industry will say 'NO'. however the studies show that people who come to the USA from one of these countries with almost no cancer, who eat like Americans, will become fat and sick and get cancer, heart disease and diabetes. So much for genetics. I lived in the South for 4 decades and enjoyed the higt fat southern food which is ... See Morefabulous. But it came with a price tag. I developed diabetes (adult on set). After being on the McDougall program for 3 years now I am diabetes free and feeling great. I still have the same genetics just a different diet.
