John Michael Talbot We had a great time at Mass at the St. Mary's Mission in Tohatchi NM on the Navajo reservation this morning. It is great to fellowship with our brothers and sisters who welcome us to their land and nation. This is a shot of JMT and Fr. John Mittlestadt, OFM, who is also one of our Domestic members.

Thomas Baird Gaylord is in the State Of Michigan. We are in the Northern part of the state right in the Middle. Kathy

John Michael Talbot The work on the New Monastery continued Saturday with the raising of the bell tower, the further work on the front loggia arches, and the beginning application of the metal roofing. This is VERY exciting for community members!!!

"One cannot fail to underline the need for clear references to the ethical responsibility of those working in [the media], especially regarding the sincere search for the truth and the protection of the centrality and dignity of the human person."

John Michael Talbot Here is a neat community photo of the vaulted ceiling of the New Chapel. It is very impressive! The person who designed the beams worked with the award winning E. Faye Jones of Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs AR.

John Michael Talbot Today we meet informally with our Domestic members at Tohatchi NM at St. Mary's Mission. It will be a great time of fellowship and sharing. Tomorrow we do at concert at the Mission.

John Michael Talbot We passed through some great country in the last few days, and I could not help but think that these would be great sites for an American version of dersert monasteries. I called this one, " Monk Rock!!!"

John Michael Talbot We stopped today outside of Flagstaff to pray over land potentially being set aside by our Domestic members for a House of Prayer and Retreat. It is beautiful country, and the people even more beautiful.

John Michael Talbot We are travelling today to the Gallup area where we will minister for about four days for schools during the day and concerts at night. These will be in town, and out on the Navajo Reservation. It is a ministry I look forward to every time. Please pray as we bring the gospel to those in need of hope, and joy. We also memorialize Sr. Margarette who was killed last week in Navajo.
