- The Johnson Cancer Center supports the multidisciplinary research, education, and training of more than 70 affiliated researchers and their undergraduate and graduate students in 13 departments at Kansas State University. All programs are made possible by private donations, and virtually 100% of funds donated are used for the mission, not for overhead or administrative expenses.

The center has one "product" for sale to the public. "A Day With Dr. Waddle" is a coloring/activity book that serves as a tool to help explain cancer to children. (It is also availabe in Spanish.) It is available through the Web site.
