On IPTV this week:
Tuesday at 9 p.m., Frontline examines the nation's rising national debt.
Wednesday at 8 p.m., Sir Ian McKellan stars in an all-new adaptation of King Lear.
Thursday at 8 p.m., The Iowa Journal looks at how Iowa's colleges are going green.
And Friday night (Saturday morning) at midnight, B.B. King takes the stage for Soundstage.

Plus we're getting ready for a great April:

Dan Wardell is gearing up for his first-ever "Healthy Hike" across the state! He wants kids to get moving and get reading this spring!

Gearing up for April specials, including Coming Home: Military Families Cope with Change April 1 at 7 p.m., and We Shall Remain, a history of America told from the perspective of Native Americans (catch a sneak peek on IPTV a week from today, March 30, on IPTV at 9:30 p.m.).
Hey IPTV fans - I know - updating regularly is important, and my post-Festival resolution is to do better...

We'd love to hear from you...

Thursday at 8 p.m., The Iowa Journal looks at unemployment and new job opportunities in Iowa. Iowa has seen the unemployment rate increase to 4.8 percent in January, with 80,600 Iowans out of work. With furloughs, layoffs and business closings, what are the jobs of the future and how do we train for them? And, if people are unemployed, how do they afford the cost of training for a new career? What do you think? Let us know what we should ask, or tell us your story here, or email us.

Also this week...

Spend St. Patrick's Day with IPTV watching our own production, Historic Pubs of Dublin, hosted by author Frank McCourt. Tuesday at 8 p.m.!

Also this week, American Masters: Carol Burnett: A Woman of Character tells the story of this legendary comedienne Wednesday at 9 p.m.

Festival thanks...

We had a good Festival - despite the economy we heard from thousands of people pledging their support to IPTV, and while our numbers were down, we were thankful for the generous support of so many.

Remember you can still pledge online at our Web site

In the next two weeks be sure to tune in for specials featuring Paul Simon, The Police, Bruce Springsteen, John Denver, Roy Orbison, Elvis, and more!

It's time for Festival! This is the time of year when we celebrate our outstanding programming, and encourage viewers and supporters to invest in our network.

Program highlights include two local documentaries - Iowa's One-Room Schoolhouses and Picture Perfect: Iowa in the 1940s. http://tinyurl.com/dxsggj

Our entire Festival lineup is available at www.iptv.org. Tune in and pledge! THANK YOU!
