Jon,
I am designing working on a community project I've tentatively called "Motivating Teenage Boys to Become Lifelong Readers: a Title IX Initiative for Boys Reading". I have 2 young adult boys who happily are reading but they didn't do much of that in high school. This has now become a passion for me and your work is ...key to my education on this. I am wondering if you or anyone at Guys Read can provide me with permission to use any video links you may have - I just need 30 seconds or so of your words of wisdom or fo course humor (!) to capture their attention - this component will be an independent reading program "announcement". Many thanks for your unbelievable work and any help you can give me.Read More

Eric Ishikawa Jon, thank you for taking the time to visit with us at your book signing in El Cerrito. We are enjoying the books you recommended as well as your guysread.com site. Oh, Robot Zot is tremendous as well.

Sally Morgan There was no medal, but your pants may have been striped.

Michelle John - Michelle from La Jolla Country Day School here. Heard you were at Warwick's last night! Sorry we missed you, although we heard you "mentioned" us in regards to Robot Zot's sash! We love you!

Gayle Fielding Anson Love your Web site. Being a mother of two boys and former teacher it is so refreshing to find a site that focuses on boys and reading. Great job!!!
