Jennifer invited Helen, Wayne and me to the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs private showing/party at the de Young. I liked the exhibit a lot. We had a huge study on King Tut and Egypt back in middle school so this brought back memories. If only they brought the actual tomb to the museum, then it would have been perfect.
They also served some appetizers – Greek theme with dolmas, lamb, falafel, cheese and more. The group’s favorite? Chocolate chip cookies.

After dinner at Burma Superstar, we all went to watch the The City of San Francisco’s Fireworks Extravaganza at Fisherman’s Wharf. We watched from afar around the Marina area. I didn’t have a tripod so I had to improvised and used what was around me – a police truck.

I seem to be eating at Burma Superstar at least once a month – every time someone from out of town comes in, we eat there. This time, it was a Love Boat reunion. We feasted.
Love Boat 2004 members in attendance: Jonas, Sharon, Jay, Sal and Karen.
Other friends and family: Susan, Joyce, Adrienne, Sal and Linda.
