NEA Clinic The Flu is Contagious. Most healthy adults may be able to infect others beginning day 1 before symptoms develop and up to 5 days after becoming sick. Children may pass the virus for longer that 7 days. Symptoms start 1-4 days after the virus enters the body. That means that you may be able to pass on the flu to someone... else before you know you are sick, as well as while your are sick. Some people can be infected with the flu virus but have no symptoms. During this time, those persons can still spread the virus to others.

If you are (or know someone who is): 30 years of age or over, have not had an abnormal pap in the last year, and have not had a hysterectomy, your office visi...t and pap could be at no cost to you for the next 3 years. This is a 3 year study and there is $50.00 per visit compensation available for participating (not paid at time of service).
