Paige is 1. No way. Not already. This is our 5th session with Paige already? Anyway, we showed up to see a full head of curly hair (so cute) and those same bright blue eyes from the first session a year ago...

Cake: Cakes by Combs (woo-hoo...2 weeks in a row!)Ceremony: First Presbyterian Church of LibertyReception: Shoal Creek Golf ClubEmotion - that's what Jenny and I love so much about shooting weddings. It's one of the happiest days of a couple's lives, when (to be a little cliche) two become one...

Ok, so if you know me at all, you know I love music. I have music playing at all times, and at times when I can't play music, I am singing in my head. Anyway, I've been going to concerts for over 13 years now...

My good buddy Brad, his wife, and their cute little baby boy, Luke, all made it out here last week to spend some time in the country. When they asked if I could do some updated family portraits, of course we headed straight into the middle of nowhere...

So, I'm about 50 ft deep in the ocean backed up with some crazy cool images to share, but I REALLY want to let everyone I possibly know (and don't know) about this amazingly talented singer that I heard about from my musical sister, Kristy (she's a kick ass photographer also)...

Ceremony: Summit Woods Baptist ChurchReception: Bliss PlazaFlowers: Victorian GardensCake: Natasha GoellnerWell, we got home from our vacation all refreshed and ready to hang out with Candace & Brian. We had beautiful weather, a beautiful couple, and a fun day all around...

We're still trying to get caught up on all our blogging since before our vacation, and we are so thankful for our clients being so patient with us :)Which brings us to Maddie. This is our 4th session with Maddie already, and she's growing oh so fast...

Back from vacation, back to Wayside to take some pictures of some beautiful doggies they have looking for good homes. Oh, how I miss those dogs when I'm not there.

Well, now that we are back from our road trip, I can finally get caught up on some of the recent sessions we shot right before we left. Tonight I bring you Jenny & Jim's engagement images. Funny thing how small this world really is...

Well, we made it home tonight. We had a boring day. We drove through thunderstorms off and on. It was cold, and windy, so we didn't get to do any fun stuff with the kiddos today...

Day 8 brought us to an awesome zoo in Colorado Springs, then we headed to Ghost Town, and finally worn out, we decided it was time to start our trek home :(We got to feed the giraffes at the zoo. Their tongues were sticky :)Of course our kids were too scared to do it, so mommy and daddy had to...

Today brought another long drive (9 hours if you include potty breaks and lunch) through gorgeous mountains. We headed out from Durango at about 10am and tried to hurry to Buena Vista so we could take the kids to Balloonavista, a HUGE hot air balloon festival they have there every year...

Last Saturday we had the pleasure of hanging out with Laura and Kevin for their wedding. We started with two people in love, added great weather and a fun bridal party, then added in a trolley and 3 hours to drive around and take photos. You can imagine how much fun we had...

Day 4 brought us only 58 miles of driving from Pagosa Springs to Durango where we'll be spending a couple of days with my sister and her family...

Day 3 was quite an eventful day...even though we really didn't go that far. In fact, we were done driving by 1pm when we hit Pagosa Springs. Actually, we were definitely done driving when some dude backed into us. Oh, he had a truck...

Well, it's a day late, but we had no internet in our hotel....let's see if I can remember all the amazing things we experienced on Day 2.Don't forget to check out Jenny's blog. Here's the Day 2 map.Still in Kansas. I have a "thing" for windmills.Woo-Freakin'-Hoo!!...

Jenny and I are and always have been big fans of road trips. We spent 3 weeks on the road for our honeymoon 6 years ago...

Well, after dinner Drew and I got to explore Adrian and the surrounding areas a little bit. I focused on a lot of textures, because that is what was grabbing me on this particular day. Enjoy!

Here's another dose of doggies from Wayside Waifs! If you're looking for a dog, and let's be honest, everyone needs a dog, Wayside is the perfect place to adopt one.As you're looking through these images, take a moment and look into each of the dog's eyes...
