Journey South performed an acoustic set in Stamford. They performed some classic covers aswell as some of their own material. Their voices blended perfectly and the music sounded fantastic. They had a banter with the audience and I think everyone had a wonderful time-I certainly did!
It was a special night to see Journey South as we were treated to their new single "What I Love About Home". It is a new version of their 2007 hit which has been specially recorded for the charity "Help For Heroes", a charity for UK troops who have served, been injured or killed in places of conflict.
I will certainly be downloading my copy on December 14th. The song has a powerful meaning and I am very proud to be a fan of a band who are involved with such a worthy charity.

Andy and Carl were simply amazing “unplugged”.

I went to four of the acoustic dates - Leicester, Lincoln, Pocklington (York) and County Durham. They were beautiful performances - moving, warm, often amusing and ultimately uplifting - watching two men so comfortable with their music.

They performed a mixture of songs from both their albums, some superb covers and their own compositions. Great harmonies, together with Carl's accomplished guitar and piano playing, yes he realy does play the piano, complimented by Andy's tambourine produces an amazing acoustic sound.

Andy and Carl are talented, down to earth, friendly and always have time for their fans.

If you are reading this and are undecided about going to see Journey South perform live please do, I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

I went to 3 acoustic tour dates, North Hykem, Pocklington and Stroud. Journey South really know how to perform and stripped down musically their harmonies are simply perfect and beautiful to listen to.

Andy and Carl really know how to engage the audience. They encourage audience participation and welcome the audience members opinions and suggestions. They also have us laughing a long, especially when Andy decided he would hilariously pretend to play the piano.

Carl is absolutely stunning playing the piano, he is so musically talented and Andy proves he is definately talented on his trusty tambourine.

Journey South perform a great blend of orginal songs, new covers and old xfactor favourites.

If you've never seen Journey South live then I would definatley recommend that you do, as you'd never be disappointed and you'd leave the show wanting more.

Not only are Andy and Carl are such great and talented musicians , they are so friendly and down to earth and always make time for all their fans.
