Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts (JFFA)

JFFA is best known for its 4-day annual festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Port Angeles, WA . A fun-filled weekend packed with music and dance performances, a juried art show, a streetfair bringing you crafts and tasty food vendors. It's a family-friendly event which includes free activities for kids with action stations and live music outside the stage venues.

At "the festival", JFFA brings diverse performances from different cultures and musical genres. It's a wonderful globally-flavored event which will become an annual must-do once you get a taste of its richness and FUN!!

Throughout the year JFFA also brings seasonal concerts to the North Olympic Peninsula primarily held at the Port Angeles High School auditorium or the Peninsula College Little Theatre.

A lesser-known component of JFFA is our Arts in the Schools Programs. On the Fridays of "the festival" school programs are offered designed specifically for K-8. When possible, we bring the guest performers from our seasonal concerts together with our high schoolers to give our youth a special opportunity to work with professional musicians.

In general, membership and festival sponsorship supports JFFA's operations and funding of our annual Memorial Day weekend festival.

To fund our Arts in the Schools Programs we hold an annual gala event, the Fall Ball, with a silent and live auction along with live music and dancing. It's a fun event with good food, music and dancing. It sells out every year and discounted tickets go on sale during the festival at the JFFA Information Booth. Through our Arts in the Schools Programs we can enrich the arts curriculum in our schools which continue to sadly be cut year after year.
