I really like being able to have them both online at the same time (separate computers) and not fighting over who gets to play a specific PC game on a CD! Plus they help each other out! Hey Tiffany,
I can suggest that your son play the games in StoryLand before trying to tackle the lessons in AdventureLand. The games in StoryLand are a lot more basic. Also here are some flash games that he can play to help him boost his math skills. http://www.knowledgeadventure.com/preschool-math-games.htm. We can also suggest looking into the game MathBlaster http://shop.knowledgeadventure.com/Products/Math-Blaster--Master-the-Basics__20537.aspx

Debra Jean Runge My First Grand daughter started with the first Jumpstart programs and she is not a Graduate from High School and is planning to go to College to be a special Education Teacher. With out this program I really did not think that she would have gotten all of the learning she was getting from the Special Education section of the School she was in It helped her to main steam to regular classes and now she is doing just fine I now have her 6 year old cousin with Special Education problems using the newer programs. The older ones will not down load to my new computer. Which is a shame as they are just the things that she needs.

I did, that is how I saw you were on Facebook. You sent me an email about the survey despite unsubscribing to your email list last year when you ignored me. I will just get satisfaction by continue to badmouth Jumpstart since obviously they do not really care about their customers.

Denis Logan Jumpstart cheated me last year and did not address not concerns. I will not consider using Jumpstart software. I have been badmouthing the Jumpstart software scam with friends, family, kids classmate parents, Scolastic, PTA and Maumee Schools. Our school bookfair refuses to sell or display Jumpstart software since this is where I bought the software that Jumpstart cheated me. I illustrated to my school and parents that the Jumpstart software I bought for $40 did not state that it was only a mini version and that it would cost another $80 to get the full version that I thought I bought. It only identified itself as a mini version after my son completed the few levels in about 3 hours. My school district, PTA and parents agreeded not display or sell Jumpstart software at their bookfairs. Scholastic claimed to be investigating my claim, but I am sure that with Jumpstart relationship with them, it will not result in any actions.

I’m sorry that you’ve had a bad experience with JumpStart!

From your note, I gather you bought JumpStart World, which is indeed a membership title. The World games are massive – each intended to take an average. student 12 months to complete entirely. We simply couldn’t fit all that content in a box so we decided to include 2 Adventure Packs which testing showed would take an average student 2 months to complete. These 2 packs alone have more lessons than we were ever able to put in a JumpStart game before. The fact that your son was able to finish the included games in a few of hours is truly impressive! ... Customer feedback has brought to our attention that our first round of packaging did not effectively explain the membership nature of the product. Since then, we’ve been working to revamp the messaging to be clear.
