Hi everybody!
I want to thanks JustBeads for choosing me to be the featured artist and give me the opportunity to show my work to whole JustBeads community. I have been working with polymer clay since 2002. Art has always attracted me, and I have tried my hand at papier mache, oil painting, embroidery, etc... I trul...y enjoyed all of these styles of expression. However, no art form has come close to challenging my imagination the way polymer clay has. It is the perfect medium for my creativity, and I hope you enjoy browsing through the collection of my polymer clay designs. Ring, ring.... Good evening everyone! Whew, what a frustrating week. I'm glad it's over and I'm glad that the site was up and running smoothly and has been for about a week now. I kept a close eye on it this week and we seem to be back to normal...
JustBeads.com The JustBeads site is fine. Sprint on the other hand is having a bit of trouble with one of their T-1 lines. They have advised us that they are attempting to trace the source of the problem and hope to have it resolved shortly. Once they get their problem resolved, we expect to back on line post haste. We regret any inconvenience this may be causing anyone.

My name is Connie Poggi, Most of you know me by my Just Beads name; "ConnieBeads".
This is my second time as featured artist and I was honored to be asked again.
I am a happily married mom of 2; Sean, age 19 and Halley, age 17 and I have a great husband, Doug, 2 cats and my side kick yellow lab ,Rocky. We liv...e in Titusville Florida which is on the central East coast. When not making beads, I design Kitchens for a living.
Art has always played a central role in my life. My father was a very talented artist, so I was always exposed to many different mediums and encouraged to try them all..
I grew up on the beautiful shores of eastern Long Island, New York. It was a great place to live as a child. We lived on the Great South Bay, just a hop, skip and a jump across the Bay to Fire Island. As early as nine years old I can remember collecting beach glass and creating jewelry that I sold at the beach.
Something's never change. I paint, sculpt, sew, and do stained glass, but my passion is lampwork. Out of need for beads, I sought out a starter kit about 7 years ago and it has been full speed ahead ever since...I hope you enjoy looking at my beads. .
