More than 100 vendors will put their wares up for sale at Cary Academy's annual Holiday Shoppe 2008. This free event is open to the public and will be held in the SEA (Sports and Education Annex) on the Cary Academy campus.
Those attending will have a multitude of potential gift purchases to choose from, includi...ng jewelry, home accessories, hostess items, children's items, holiday ornaments, apparel, food, and a wide variety of handmade crafts.
* Thursday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
* Friday, Dec. 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m.
* Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Come to the Holiday Shoppe's Sip-n-Shoppe preview party on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. and get a sneak peek at all the wares! Get your tickets and more information here!
Proceeds from Holiday Shoppe go to community outreach and need-based scholarships. Cary Academy is located in Cary at 1500 N. Harrison Ave. (From Chapel/Hill Durham take I-40 east to Raleigh and then take Exit 287/Harrison Ave. From Raleigh take I-40 west to Exit 287/Harrison Ave.)

Here are the trees you helped grow and the women that received them!
The seeds that were planted in spring have grown into young sapplings. The first trees were given away to families in Mauritania's capital in July.

This Saturday from 9 am - 5 pm they're going to block off the main streets and pack them with booths of local artists and crafters. I'm sure food and live music will be part of the fun -- perhaps the pirates will be there again!

JustNeem Body Care Check it out. This is what the local women wear, they've got these amazing fabrics!! And check out the necklace - it's a gift from the guy we bought Neem from in December. He's started a jewelry business with the money he made from that!
