Part of our magazine show “This is Us,” profiling extraordinary people from the South Bay and Central Coast, this video features Jockey Russell Baze, who has been riding horses professionally for over thirty years. On December 1, 2006 at Bay Meadows in San Mateo, Baze set the all-time career record for most victories, eclipsing Lafit Pincay Jr. by winning race number 9,531. Baze currently resides in Woodside.
