KXCV-KRNW, the flagship stations for the Bearcat Radio Network presents Bearcat Playoff Football Saturday, November 21st with Bearcat GameDay beginning at 11am and Kickoff scheduled for high noon at Bearcat Stadium. Make plans to attend and cheer on the Bearcats to a playoff win and listen to e...very exciting play on KXCV 90.5 FM or KRNW 88.9 FM. The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats (10-1) play host to Abilene Christian (9-3) who handed Northwest our only loss of the year a 19-14 defeat in week one of the 2009 campaign. Abilene Christian defeated Midwestern State last Saturday in the opening round of the Division 2 playoffs 24-21 to advance to play the Bearcats who received an opening round bye.Read More

Stooksbury Benefit: Chase in hospital bed with teddy bear
The Chase Stooksbury Benefit Fish Fry will Be Saturday, November 28th from 4:30 to 8:30pm in the King Pharmacy building on the northside of the square in Albany. Chase is the two year old son of Jeff and Tera Stooksbury and has been diagnosed with stage four neur...oblastoma cancer. All proceeds go for Chase and his families expenses. Our annual fall fund drive is scheduled to run tomorrow, October 17, through Friday, October 23.
KXCV/KRNW Public Radio is Northwest's 100,000-watt FM station - and your community public radio station. Listener's support helps KXCV/KRNW provide innovative programs of local and national news, music, arts, entertainment a...nd Bearcat athletics, as well as syndicated programs such as "Morning Edition," "All Things Considered," "Prairie Home Companion," "Car Talk" and "Fresh Air.".
Membership opportunities start at $52, $90 or $120 per year. That means for as little as one dollar a week you can help us provide you with the quality programming you desire. Supporting Memberships are $250 and Sustaining Memberships are $500. This year we're introducing the Millennium Club for loyal members who contribute $1,000 or more.

Membership gifts are used exc...lusively to help pay for porgramming costs. Many folks don't realize it, but Morning Edition and All Things Considered alone cost nearly $23,000 per year. KXCV-KRNW must also pay annual fees to both NPR and American Public Media to make these and other great shows available.
In addition, we produce 19 local and regional newscasts each weekday that provide coverage for 32 counties.

MOSAIC, the Midwest Organization of Students Advancing Interculturalism, will host its 4th annual event 10/15/2009 (Thursday) ~ 10/17/2009 (Saturday) in Northwest's J.W. Jones Student Union.
The registration fee for Students is $12 and Northwest Faculty, Staff and Community Members it's $25.
