Joanne Hi! I am from New York and I flew out to Denver to do the ride with my daughter. It was her birthday. What a GREAT way to celebrate her birthday!!: -) (The only disappointment was we got to the start line a little late so we were unable to get our bib numbers and our t-shirts. We really would like to have these to remember such a great time. Is there any way we can still get them?? Please let me know. Thanks!

I rode starting in the family ride with my cousin and Father. This was my first time doing this ride and was very excited to see if I could get 2-3 laps in before 2am. We did our first lap which was very crowded, but this was completely expected so it was a blast. Right when we finished our first lap we got back on the... course to do another. We were with a group of 30-40 people or more trying to do another lap. We were met just a block after the start line by a couple of police officers who told us that even though it was only 12:15, they were now opening the course to cars and that if we wanted to do it we all had to ride on the sidewalk. One rider tried to ride past the police officer and the officer proceeded to push the cyclist over. That is besideds the point. I don't know if I will ever do this ride again unless the organizers stand by what they say. The course was supposed to be closed til 2 am. I would love to get my money back since I didnt pay $40 so that I could ride one lap.Read More
Brian Bee One thing I did notice was the Map had rest stops at the top o York at Cheesman park when in fact it was at Cherry Creek.
Peter This was my first MC but I used to ride a similar midnight thing in San Diego. I may have a different perspective than others but I really liked this event. I liked the mad crowds and sharing the road with peds and cars worked just fine for me. What a great way to see Denver! Can't wait for next year. Thanks for the great event!
Cierra Camozzi This was my third year riding and I had such a great time..... When do we ever get to dress up in costume and ride a bike in the middle of night through Denver? Can't wait for next year already thinking about what to dress up in :)
Anita Watkins had a great time this year as always! But encountered more problems out on the course compared to past years. The roads NOT blocked off as stated caused HUGE masses to stop, crash & bunch up! Much needs to be improved on the rest stops which were a circus... space wise compared to last year. Way too many participants for the area size of those 2 rest stops! PLEASE bring back the Wash Park route they cut off!
Shawn Tuohy-Gaydos 17th was a nightmare, and my 6 year old son had a very bad fall there. We were able to get him to the finish, but were concerned about his arm being broken and bleeding. There was NO help we could find! I had a VERY difficult time finding a bag and ice (thank you KEEN for the bag and 180 for the ice) and no band aids anywhere!
Keenan I loved the Moonlight Classic! This was my first year and my first time doing anything of the sort. I'm definitely doing it next year! All the costumes were amazing and made the night that much better. Thanks for a fun midnight bike ride!

I've gotta say, that was the least fun I've had on a Moonlight Classic. The roads were not closed to traffic as promised.
"The entire course will be closed to all automobile traffic."
That's directly off your website. 17th was a zoo, there was no difference in rush hour car traffic and last night. Very frustrating.
