Ho Fo'sho my name is kara so... yay!!!!!!!!!!!

Kara Candlelight Service on Thursday night was wonderful. Thank you to the families who came forward to light candles on behalf of their loved ones and to speakers Samina Sundas, Rev. Karyn Bradley, Rabbi Ari Cartun and our ED Cyndy Ainsworth. Terrific music from Gunn High School Choir and soloist Samantha Gutierrez. A night for memory, hope and courage.

Kara Congratulations to Stacey Redman and the Tim Griffith Memorial Foundation on a very successful gala! Cyndy and Stephanie were delighted to represent Kara in giving thanks for the Foundation's support for both the CORE and Camp Erin programs.

Kara Tonight Kara begins a drop-in group exclusively for students of Gunn and Paly who are experiencing grief issues realted to or exacerbated by the recent student deaths at the train crossing. I hope we have many, many kids taking advantage of this opportunity. So important that they find a safe place ...to talk and/or li...sten to one another. I'm so proud of all that Kara is doing for our community.

Still accepting At Your own Pace pledges and on-line donations through... the end of the fiscal year - which is this Wednesday. Help us beat our goal.
