Karibuni and Skiweekender
The lifts don't open for another six weeks but that didn't stop James, Tom and Jack getting a few turns in the fresh snow yesterday.
After hiking up for two and a half hours on snowshoes with skis and boards on their backs they got to enjoy the Aiguille piste with six inches of beautiful fresh powder.
Unfortunately their legs were so tired from the climb they couldn't ski very well!!!

Karibuni and Skiweekender are very pleased with the new ski room downstairs. True it's eaten into the gym space a bit, but who needs a gym when there's blue skies, fresh snow and nice new skis to choose from stacked neatly in their new home?

Karibuni and Skiweekender It's snowing!

Karibuni and Skiweekender are off to the UK for the Ski Show.

Karibuni and Skiweekender There's snow on the tops!!!!! Winter's almost here!

Karibuni and Skiweekender Big news! It's just been confirmed that the Tour de France will be passing through St Jean de Sixt again on Tuesday 13th July 2010. So if you missed out this year there's no excuse for next year - consider this plenty of notice!

Karibuni and Skiweekender think that summer is now definitely over. But great memories were made and much fun was had. Pictures of the K-team enjoying summer are now up here for all of those who ask 'but what do you do in your spare time?'

Karibuni and Skiweekender Celebrating summer 09 with a quick look at what Paul, James, Jess and Tom have been up to over the last 6 months.

Karibuni and Skiweekender now have all their skis for winter - bring it on! 150 pairs of beautifully waxed and sharp edged skis. lovely.

Karibuni and Skiweekender had a wonderful weekend with Team Ireland and the other lovely walking ladies as well as Duncan's group of Via Feratta bods too. Plus the Karibuni crew all enjoyed a day off yesterday completing the challenging Grand Bo via ferratta, road biking up the huge Col de Colombiere and mtb-ing the mighty Saleve between them! Days off round here definitely do not involve watching TV!

Karibuni and Skiweekender is gearing up for a 25 person weekend. Glad it's good weather - beautiful sun and autumnal trees. Can't wait to get out walking with our group tomorrow!

Karibuni and Skiweekender is wondering, what happened to summer? guess it's over then! Loving autumn though, even if it is a bit chilly right now. Good time for walking and biking....

Seeing as so many of you liked the video of James skiing off the Bun J Ride ramp we thought we'd show you how it looks in the summer.
A big thanks to Lee Smith's group for providing the soundtrack!
