Kasim Reed The Metro Atlanta Arts and Culture Coalition hosted a mayoral forum on Monday, October 12th, 2009 with the four leading mayoral candidats. The forum dealt with issues specific to the arts and culture community. Arts and culture are very near and dear to my heart, and I had a tremendous time participating in the forum.
Kasim Reed The Quality Living Services (QLS) Senior Center hosted a mayoral forum with the four leading candidates on Monday, October 12th. It was my second time visiting QLS during the campaign, and I enjoyed seeing so many good friends after the forum.
Kasim Reed On Sunday, October 11th, 2009, I was proud to witness the remarkable 88th bday celebration of the Rev. Dr. Joseph E. Lowery, a true visionary, a champion for social equality. The celebration took place at Morehouse College's King Chapel, and proceeds from the festivities went to benefit the Joseph E. Lowery Institute for Justice and Human Rights. It was a grand occasion!
Kasim Reed On Saturday, October 10th, 2009, I attended a meet and greet hosted by former State Representative Robbin Shipp and Georgia State Senator Nan Orrock at Agave Restaurant on Boulevard. Unfortunately, Senator Orrock couldn't make it, but I had a great time interacting with those who were able to attend.
Kasim Reed I took this day to make rounds around town and visit Atlantans with former Representative Robbin Shipp. We visited various parts of Reynoldstown. Here are a few quick shots.
Kasim Reed The Women for Kasim Reed "took it to the streets" on Saturday, October 10th, 2009. A die hard group of at least 40 women campaigned for me by visiting various locations around Atlanta and spreading the word about my candidacy. I was able to spend a few minutes with them, and I enjoyed every minute!

On August 17th, the Campaign Ambassadors for Kasim Reed in conjunction with the Young Atlantans for Kasim Reed hosted an exclusive networking mixer and political rally in support of my candidacy for Mayor of Atlanta. Over 600 young professionals came out to attend the rally. I was glad to see the tremendous outpourin...g of support from old friends and new ones.
