I missed yesterday's HDQ, didn't I? And I have no excuse, nothing but the fact that I was distracted and didn't get to it, which is pretty pathetic. I mean, really! I write fiction! You'd think I could come up with a better excuse than that! OK, wait...let's see...hmm...how's this: I ...

I've read each of your books a few times each and I must say that every time I enter a book story the first thing I check for is your latest work. Your novels are so fun and refreshing and I commend you for your work. Love the new silver dragon books so I'll be looking forward to the next one! Take care! -Sarah

Hello! I just wanted to say hi and tell you that I LOVE your books. I'm a huge fan of Aisling, I re-read her books about 3 times while waiting for the 1st silver dragon book to come out.

Just wanted to let you know I just finished Ghost of a Chance. I loved it. You threw me for a loop at the end and usually I'm real good at solving mysteries. I really hope you decide to continue to write mysteries. Karma would be a good heroine.

My good news this week is that I'm giving myself the rest of the week off before I have to start writing. Yes, I realize that's more procrastination and self-indulgence than good news, but work with me! It's good! Hopefully the extra time will allow me to finish up with those ...

This is Frank the model. I think his jaw is trying to seduce me. That's the only explanation I have for wanting to molest his face. Yes, I am just shameless enough to admit that. But come on, look closer at it... Tell me that jawline isn't singing a siren song to ...

It's hump day. And it's raining YET AGAIN in the PNW, which is bad enough, but when I got out of bed this morning, it was actually COLD in the house. COLD! In August! It's absolutely infuriating, this lack of summer weather. This crappy weather is making me think longingly ...

And indeed, I have gnood gnus. A couple pieces, actually. The bookish gnus is that Penguin Putnam has been working hard to sell some foreign rights for my books, which means the dragon books will be hitting the UK and Australia. And more vampire books should be gracing German bookstores, ...

For as long as she can remember, Katie MacAlister has loved reading. Growing up in a family where a weekly visit to the library was a given, Katie spent much of her time with her nose buried in a book. Despite her love for novels, she didn't think of writing them until she was contracted to write a non-fiction book about software. Since her editor refused to allow her to include either witty dialogue or love scenes in the software book, Katie swiftly resolved to switch to fiction, where she coul... (read more)
