Morris Press Cookbooks To keep your crust in one place while you are rolling it out is to lightly dampen your work area. Be sure to use waxed paper sheets, and this will work great!

It works very well, then just fold up the wax paper and toss when done. No mess.

Lisa

Lisa I'm just starting the cookbook process and with all the formats, cover designs and divider selections available I'm getting overwhelmed. How do you narrow down the choices? This fundraiser is for a special education school in Maryland. Definitely going with soft cover and will probably have less than 500 recipes. Thanks for any advice!

I would start by choosing your cover design, since this feature will drive sales more than any other option. After you've made this decision, choose a divider set and recipe page format that coordinates with your cover. This will help unify your cookbook, and contribute to your fundraiser's success. We have many free stock covers and divider sets to choose from. We also have several free recipe page formats (F1-F9).

Thank you very much! I know I sound pathetic, when it seems so easy, but I'm really excited about this fundraising opportunity! Thanks again for your help!

also when deciding on your dividers, choose what matches with your cover...looks more professional. I also would stick with hard covers, they last much longer and seem more professional to me. they have some knd lasting affect to it too. Because we had over 500 recipes in our book, we chose the hard cover 3 ring binder...but if you think you ... Read Morewill have less than 500, go with the hard cover...unless it is less than 250 then I guess the soft cover will be ok. I've learned alot about covers and what is best on my own. you want good quality...everlasting quality. Hence why we chose the hard cover.

Morris Press Cookbooks Pumpkin and other custard-style pies are done when they jiggle slightly in the middle. Fruit pies are done when the pastry is golden, juices bubble, and fruit is tender.

Morris Press Cookbooks Dipping strawberries in chocolate? Stick toothpicks into the stem end of the berry. Coat the berries with chocolate, shaking off any excess. Turn the berries upside down and stick the toothpick into a block of styrofoam until the chocolate is set. This way you won't have any flat spots.

Dee Bird Can someone put the promotional poster on PDF to download...please!!! Perty please. I surely can use more and although I was told I can make copies from it, I rather download it as a "original". Is it possible. I know it is...but make it possible for us too!

The "Taste of the Beaches" Cookbook from Maryland's Western shore is incredible! If you love crab, rockfish and oysters, you'll love these recipes. There's even recipes from Michelle Obama and Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley.
