hi tom, i too am short for a goalkeeper (6") and at the start of the season really struggled with high shots, as the season has gone on there have been a few things that have helped me. for starters work hard in the gym on your legs, bigger legs = more spring to your jump, also work on positioning, reacting and jumping, if you are in the right position, react fast enough, and time your jump correctly then you will reach the high shots. hope this helps!

John!
I wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on in Miami right now,
I tried out for my University's team last week and they want to keep me.
Even though the goalkeeper coach (Joe Massi) says that I need a lot of work, specially experience to play in a Division 1 college he is going to give me the opportunity of staying in the team during the Spring season, my performance during these upcoming months will determine whether I stay or not for Fall.
