I support the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, as it is unconstitutional because the federal government isn't afforded the power by The Constitution to make that decision. I also believe that same-sex couples should enjoy the same benefits as opposite-sex couples that are gauranteed under The Constitution.

In this video, near the end, Steve Rattner, the former Car Czar, talks about how the administration nearly decided to let Chrysler go under for the mere fact that it was a competitor against the company that the government was... a shareholder in, GM.
