The Indian River Festival is delighted to welcome back Kendra MacGillivray. For over 20 years, she has brought fiddle music to life with her incredibly energetic performances. As a former Highland dancer, she also brings a unique ability to interpret lilting slow airs, beautiful waltzes and irresistible reels and strat...hspeys on the fiddle and has even been known to take a few steps while playing. She has performed and taught throughout North America and beyond, and has recently released her much anticipated CD “Love O’ the Isles”, which has been nominated for this year’s “Instrumental Recording of the Year” by the East Coast Music Association. She also received three PEIMA award nominations this year for this latest release. www.kendramacgillivray.com
