Kern County Cachers Ok KCC members, this is a message of thanks to our very own lavender_rabbit for attempting the hard core...and failing. Lavender attempted to find my 7 new caches out in the Carrizo Plain in a rain storm. Lavender quickly discovered this was a monumental mistake. However, Lavender's thirst for something other than a po...le skirt or a bush cache is what drives great cachers to do these things. Please honor Lavender's attempts by reading their logs starting at The Tower. And hopefully we will hear more of Lavender's tale at the Meet N Greet on the 29th.

Lavender and ObiWan, what a wild ride. Glad you made it back safe, even with all the extra mud!

Kern County Cachers I have this gun shop customer who spends a lot of money. Well he said he was trading the army surplus guy in Fresno for some ammo cans for some goodies. He made the same deal for me and I got 20 cans for $5 each! YES!

I just realized the other day, there are two on Ming. I meant the one across from the mall. Click the link and you can get the coordinates to be more exact.

Kern County Cachers Ok, so it is 11:55 PM and I am trying to get ready for a marathon cache day in the Carrizo Plain tomorrow. I just realized that my life would be much easier if I took all of my little cache containers and put the logs in them now. Well not now as I really should be asleep or finishing packing, but instead I am stuffing... cache logs into bison tubes and 35mm film containers.

Greg Ok I am going to go caching all day on saturday. I really want to get to 1000 by the end of the year. Is there one cache that is a must to do in bakersfield?

Kern County Cachers The Taft Cachers are at it again. whitefam5, lil brock, and elrojo14 have started a new epic cache run called the Random Tree Series. Taft continues to lead the pack in quality caches. Can Bakersfield keep up?
