Girls on the Run of the Wood River Valley A little game of "runaway train" to get the girls warmed up for the day. We later discussed reflecting on gratitude, and had a solitary (no talking which is REALLY hard for 3rd, 4th an 5th grade girls!) run for our work out! We're coordinating a shuttle up to Galena Lodge with the new Mountain Fairy service this Sunday for those who might need to get a long run in. Most people will be running back to SNRA, but we could grab you on the way up if you need something shorter. If you're interested in joining, send me a message.

Girls on the Run of the Wood River Valley

Girls on the Run of the Wood River Valley The 6th annual community fun run/walk held at Heagle Park in Hailey. The race starts at 9:30 am, followed by a fun Healthy Living expo for the whole family complete with kids activities, crafts, games, food and healthy living info. Registration is available at www.girlsontherunwrv.org or at Atkinsons in Hailey on Friday May 15 from 5-7 p.m. or race morning at Heagle Park.

A community fun run/walk with family fun activities in the park following the race.

Come make a difference! You will be amazed and what you can do and the rewards you ...will receive!

Help girls uncover their potential and challenge themselvesSandy & girls to achieve their goals. After-school programs meet twice a week for six weeks while training to complete a 5k event. Coaches receive training to facilitate the self-esteem building curriculum and become life-changing mentors helping girls experience self-discovery, perseverance and growth.

Fall session runs April 6 - May 16. Sites where we are in need of help:

Hailey Elem. TU/TH: 2:45-4:00 pm
Woodside Elem. TU/TH: 2:45-4:00 pm
Bellevue, M/W: 2:45-4:00 pm
