There was currently a question posted on our discussion boards regarding our Kids 0-9 Colic. The mother was concerned about the product because it worked so quickly in her child that was suffering from severe colic. She was concerned that the product might be addictive and wanted to know how it worked. Here is infor...mation from a veteran pharmacist who is knowledgeable about both traditional and homeopathic medicines. We think the reply will be helpful for all mothers with children that are suffering with colic.
There is nothing more concerning to a parent than severe colic. This brings on obvious pain and discomfort to the baby and the feeling of helplessness can be overwhelming. Historically homeopathy has worked exceptionally well and acts rapidly to bring relief to the baby. The change in the baby's disposition and reduced pain and anxiety is nothing short of miraculous! I had an opportunity to view this firsthand when my oldest granddaughter had colic. Having not had colic in our 4 children I had only viewed this thru the concern of parents coming for help in my pharmacy. Seeing the rapid relief brought about by the Kids 0-9 colic to this otherwise very distressed baby was unbelievable.
I want to assure you that the Kids 0-9 colic does not provide relief in what would lead to an "addictive" need. The baby will not continue to need the homeopathic product when the colic pain is not present nor will the absence of the product bring on colic pain. Just to be clear, natural does not mean without side effects". Homeopathy is however a therapeutic method within the natural products that has no known side effects nor does it exhibit addictive properties.
Homeopathy works by naturally stimulating the body defenses to correct a condition, illness or symptom. In the case of colic the ingredients are highly diluted substances that the body will recognize and naturally stimulate it's defense against gas, cramping, and bloating pain.
