A group of 20 to 25 high school students, members of Mecklenburg Youth Voice, suggest the following ideas for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools budget.


Kids Voting Mecklenburg Mecklenburg Youth Voice, a youth-driven project sponsored by Kids Voting, meets tonight with Dr. Gorman to talk about leadership and decision-making in public education - and how students can be involved and make their voices heard on issues that matter to youth. Kids Voting Mecklenburg Mecklenburg Youth Voice will meet on Wednesday, January 28 at the CMS Ed Center. The meeting will be 6-8 PM. During the first hour, MYV will talk about school issues such as security, the anti-bullying policy and more with Associate Superintendent Barb Pellin. In the second hour, MYV members will meet to talk about and create actions to address student issues. Kids Voting Mecklenburg Save the date for the Kids Voting Candidate Forum and Debate for Youth on September 29 and October 20, 6-8PM both nights at Imaginon.
