The positive mental Health Foundation wishes to announce to our friend it’s 5th major fundraising event – Annie’s Ball’ in the Meyrick Hotel, Eyre Square, Galway on the 3rd of October 2009.
Designed as a classic Black Tie event in the tradition of formal dinner dance, Annie’s Ball will also offer a modern twist with a ...gala of surprises.
An opulent itinerary has been carefully styled for the ultimate evening of entertainment.
A brief summary of the planned highlights is described below.
8 Guests will be welcomed with a lavish Champagne Reception accompanies by Danilo Chaib cellist to play while you sip your drink.
8 This is followed by a 4-course banquet with wine, heralded by our own Bell Ringer,
8 The keynote speaker for the evening is noted columnist Mary Kenny.
8 We are delighted to have secured the renowned ‘West Coast Big Band’ to provide live entertainment for the evening.
8 Before dancing and during dinner a professionally organized Auction, Tango Dancing and Viennese Waltz will afford guests the opportunity to go home with coveted prizes including:
l A painting from William Gavin Collection
l The ever-popular Rugby Tickets (courtesy of I.R.F.U)
l Soccer tickets to a UK venue.

Hey everyone just to let you know that we are organising a little Cahercon reunion through Facebook.
This does not mean that it’s only for ex-pupils who are on Facebook it’s just a means of getting it out there and for you all to pass the word on.
It’s a Saturday night in Kilfenora, with dinner in Vaughan’s Pub and accom...modation in Kilfenora Hostel run by ex-pupil Orla Vaughan.
The total cost for dinner and shared accommodation is €40 which I think you’ll agree is great value in these times. If you want twin or double rooms and dinner, the cost will be €50 per person.
We will need to have numbers sorted by September, places are limited so early booking is recommended.
