Trolley Museum of New York Be afraid. Be very afraid! Don't forget, tomorrow is the big Halloween event at the museum. The setup in the car barn is quite impressive.

Trolley Museum of New York Have a screaming good time at the Trolley Museum on Halloween, 1PM to 4PM. You'll just die when you see El Diablo and the Prince of Darkness.

Trolley Museum of New York The Trolley Museum also has a collection of postcards. Here's one of the ferry across the Rondout. This one predates 1920.

The 2009 conference theme is Changing Scenes. Since 1999, the West Coast Railway Association and their West Coast Railway Heritage Park has the goal to have something new for visitors to see every year. ...

Trolley Museum of New York The regular operating season has ended, but there are still a few special events. We'll have the car out for the Burning of Kingston, Halloween, and (weather permitting) 1st weekend of December for Santa. Don't forget volunteer projects happen year 'round, so don't hesitate to call if you have time on your hands.

Trolley Museum of New York Help fill the dead space in our trolley and have a frightful visit.

Trolley Museum of New York We've sometimes kidded with our passengers that in 26 years of operation on our track that we haven't splashed a trolley into the Hudson. This has now been made even less likely with the installation of a safety barrier at end-of-track on the causeway. Thanks to Dick, Martin and Joe for their good work.

Trolley Museum of New York In the two-week old news department, Don McClatchey installed the repaired center doors on Brooklyn PCC 1000. Considering he started with rust perforated shells, they look fabulous. As good as new.

Trolley Museum of New York I was at the museum last Sunday from 11:30 to 5:30...a cloudy, drizzly day. We didn't take the trolley out; didn't have any visitors. I replaced two burned out florescent ballasts downstairs and got one of the flaky lights in car 358 working (more flaky lights though to fix).

Trolley Museum of New York
Another in my series of archival pictures...this one is still a 'mystery' in that it isn't labeled. It would seem to be fan trip or charter, but where and when is unknown! http://www.tmny.org/catl.php?n=4560&d=c1 945&c=people+in+front+of+trolley
