GOLDEN GHOST sings sweetly about all manner of things. A great voice and a bit of a wild card live.
VIKING MOSES is unhinged as fuck. Occasionally bluesy, frequently left field, the man has seen and done crazy things and talks about it. This is performance with a capital P.

Prince Rama have been forced to cancel due to having all of their equipment stolen... bummer. If anyone wants to help here is a myspace link to make donations or even just send better vibes.

Quiet Hooves are groovy pop from Athens, think Harry Nilsson-Jad Fair levels of cooky ca...tchiness. A band apart, songs sound like they could fall apart at any moment, just before peaking into sing-a-long-able goodness.
Great Architect will play a set of scorchers just before being picked up by the stork to be taken on a tour up the mid west.
This will also be the second All Killer rad bake sale... Halloween themed, let us know if you wanna donate baked goods!

WHITE HINTERLAND, from Portland, is pop from another world. Led by nuanced chanteuse Casey Dienel, sometimes they sing entirely in French, sometimes playing Serge Gainsbourg covers, sometimes spooky wilderness lovin’ jams. No matter their bend for a particular performance, it’s always enthralling. They are on Dead Oce...ans records, the label of Akron Family, Dirty Projectors, Califone, Phosphorescent, Bowerbirds, etc.
MEMBERS OF THE SEA is a group of eight musicians led by Claudio and Chris from Foxchase. They stomp and joyfully burn through positive party jams on all manner of acoustic instruments. Yay fun!
What is 201212, “Twenty Twelve Twelve”?
201212 is a fake name for a real place. The address is 1212 10th St. As you pass the Salvation Army on Central Ave heading toward town, you bear right at the fork and it is a smallish gray industrial building on your left that sits across from Piedmont Middle School. There is plenty of parking across the street. People are to enter through the garage door around the back.
The owners and occupants of the building are amazingly cool and supportive of arts of all kind, and are gracious enough to let us do a run of party shows there. If/when you meet them, shake their hands; thank them profusely.
Think of this space as a roomier, classier, less legally problematic version of the Yauhaus. Shows there will be run with the same ethic.
201212 is the beginning.

Armed with only a suitcase of synths and a megaphone, Ear Pwr's enthusiasm and mutual admiration sparks into a fun-loving barrage of body-moving electro and infectious silliness that's hard to ignore. Sarah lays down rap-style vocals and simple melodies that glide easily over the beats to become unshakably ingrained in... your psyche for days on end. Devin, the seemingly innocent hype man, bobs and weaves in-and-out of the crowd like a man possessed, while frantically spewing his dance floor sales pitch, punctuating Sarah's vocals and generally rousing the rabble like a an Afro-ed pied piper. - Carpark Records
Toro y Moi started in 2001 as a bedroom project but quickly grew into the live performance realm. The songs are born from a plethora of different genres, from freak-folk to R&B to French House—which is heavily influential on Chaz Bundick's newest dance alias, Les Sins. Before any full length album has been released, Toro Y Moi has already received praise from music websites like Pitchfork and Gorilla Vs. Bear as well as upcoming print features in the NME and Dazed and Confused. - Carpark Records

JANA HUNTER, from Baltimore, has a really gorgeous voice, top notch songs and an avant presentation. She’ll be performing with a full band. She’s also on these record labels Gnomonsong, Fuck It Tapes, Woodsist, Troubleman. If you haven’t heard it, you’re missing out.
CRAZY DREAMS BAND is the full-on rock outing of Ms. L...exie Mountain on Holy Mountain records. Sounds reminiscent of Royal Trux + Sun City Girls + Patti Smith. Crazy sounds and awesome crooning. Also features the drummer from Mouthus/Religious Knives.
BOB FIELDS is a glutton for wonderment, matched by none. The new sets are impeccable.
Don’t show up if you just want to party. This isn’t “cool town”.

Dear Friends of Music,
Four crazy-great bands @ 2328 Bay Street on Monday night. 9pm. Don't miss it.
For a paltry (and kind) donation, you can hear the likes of:
a) Seawhistle - www.myspace.com/seawhistlemusic - "eating croutons while wearing earplugs," eh? Solid. From Asheville....just like....
b) No Shoulders - www.mysp...ace.com/noshoulders - twitchy and gentle genre hoppers, except the genres explode after they're touched.
c) Jason Ajemian's High Life - www.myspace.com/sundmagi - a new group from our old friend Jason. Renewed focus on his vocals/words from this bassist extraordinaire, abetted by a crew of improvisers from NYC playing outrageous graphic scores. Former Chicagoan (current Citizen of the World), Jason brings inspired musicality to any situation, from Born Heller to Dragons 1976 to his 'From Beyond' 10" project; conducting orchestras or leading 30+ member big bands or playing solo. Check the below links and then check out this crazy shit live in the living room at Bay Street....!

d) Great Architect - www.myspace.com/hellogreatarchitect - not to be confused with Kim Jong Il or even the Brilliant Comrade. We will play a fistful of our tunes in a way that is both disorienting and liberating.
Thanks, as always, for listening.

Pterodactyl is skree-skraw rock excellence. Damn thrilling, and best buds with Oneida and Parts And Labor. They conjure walls of super charged, high energy blitzen doodles. Give it a listen. Fun.
Bo White will be playing the most roc...king solo set ever. Wry lyrics, drummer in tow.
Bob Fields will befuddle the best of them. Thrilling you softly with his love.

MYSTERY OF TWO are from Cleveland. Live, they sound like a post-punk-trio version of Talking Heads.
ONE ANOTHER is former Charlotteans that moved to Chicago and have moved back because Charlotte is kicking ass right now. They are all about Fun. Catchy. Rock.
U.s. WILDLIFE is a posi-vibe freakout. Think a basement Sun Ra ...meets the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test in the guise of 2012 shamanic gurus. This band features members of many bands you know from Charlotte, and this is their first show.

Kinnikinnik Records The Castanets are a pretty great experimental folk band on Asthmatic Kitty records. Warmer Milks are on tour with them and they careen wildly from noisy Swans-like rock to gruff voiced backwoods traditional. I have no idea what they’ll sound like this night. They toured with Bonnie Prince Billy a few years ago and occa...sionally have members Palace Brothers playing with them.
