All month long, Seattle Humane Society is waiving adoption fees on cats 5 years and older, and dogs 5 years and older are half price! At some shelters, dogs and cats over the age of three are not considered "adoptable," but at the Seattle Humane Society, age is never an issue! ...

Eastside Veterinary Associates Our very own Dr. Kennedy is currently at Shell Beach in Guyana, South America helping run a spay/neuter clinic. It is important to keep the dog population there in check because they are harassing the sea turtles and eating their eggs as well as threatening people on the beach. It is a unique ecosystem with very good h...abitat for sea turtle nesting. She is working with Remote Area Medical and the Guayana Marine Turtle Conservation Society, check out the website.
