Not only is it great to see some favourites, it's also great for discovering people I haven't heard of before - your choices of whom to include are awesome. Oh what a week! Oh what a week it really was!

On behalf of The Grand River Blues Society, may we congratulate The Kitchener Blues Festival for the most incredible Blues Extravaganza for five solid days. The 2009 Festival really raised the Bar and it will be a hard one to top but somehow I know the 10th Anniversary Edition will. Kitchener Blues Festival To date, every year of the Festival Mel Brown has played the final time slot on the main stage. Mel passed away in March and we miss him dearly. To close out the Festival this year we will have The Homewreckers, Miss Angel and some Special Guests. Mel's memories and legacy will be with us forever.
