Sorry, this also has nothing to do with pumpkin cloth, but I am a very experienced knitter, since the age of 4, now 60 years on, am trying to do the loopy pattern, for baby cardigan, where you wrap the wool round the needle and forefinger, but when this row is done, the next row (knit) the wool is not taut, it pulls through the previous row stitches, making large loops as the knitted rows (like the old dishclotgh pattern of yesteryear), if you understand. How do I prevent this? Jane
