Krause For Iowa's Future

Krause For Iowa's Future In the spirit of Christmas, I do think that Roxanne is a fine candidate and a worthy opponent.

However,
in defense from the comment in my other Facebook page, I never
said a word about the Microsoft lawsuit. They were the words of the Republican Party and a reporter unfortunately melded my comments with those.

My complai...nt
was with having a federally registered lobbyist for Monsanto as her top
political advisor. If Ms. Conlin is to say that she is free of lobbyist
influence, I though that it was a very poor way to start. Monsanto has
incredible monopoly powers over the price of seed corn and seed beans
which is important in a state like Iowa. Seed corn from Monsanto now
sells at over $300 per bushel. I cannot help but think a top advisor
registered for Monsanto would at least encourage her to pull her
punches in regards to the upcoming monopoly investigation. I will be
testifying against Monsanto during the Department of Justice public
hearing in Ankeny in March and urge Conlin to do so also. Tnese are my
comments from a previous release:

Bob,
I don't think Christmas is the right time to be posting political statements. They should be held until later (Dec. 26?)

Krause For Iowa's Future A quote from President Harrry Truman's 1949 Christmas Day Message: "In the spirit of the Christ Child – as little children with joy in our hearts and peace in our souls – let us, as a nation, dedicate ourselves anew to the love of our fellowmen. In such a dedication we shall find the message of the Child of Bethlehem, the real meaning of Christmas. "
