The Henry R. Kravis Prize in Leadership began in 2006 and annually recognizes an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary achievement over time in the non-profit sector.

The Prize celebrates boldness, innovation, creativity, consistency, persistence, and effectiveness in non-profit leadership. The award recipient receives $250,000 to be directed to a non-profit organization designated by them.
