Merry Merry!!!

To All Football Clubs and fans of the LBC United Football League,

Happy Holidays to all!! Thank you for your support of the 2009 -2010 UFL program. We had a very successful start to the program with the LBC UFL Cup. The weather cooperated with us and the matches were well fought and in most cases very close battles. There was plenty of passion on and off the field displayed by players, managers, coaches, supporters and officials. Passion is great for our sport but let me remind you it must be controlled from time to time.

Congratulations to Air Force Rider for winning the UFL Cup. Congratulations to Lions Alaska for winning the UFL Plate. We are looking forward to the start of the LBC 1st and 2nd Division Leagues with the highly anticipated match between Lions Alaska and Union Rudy Project for the coveted 8th spot of the LBC UFL 1st Division. This match will take place on January 10. Only players registered for these clubs during the UFL Cup may participate in this match. Suspension will carry over to this match. The LBC UFL League matches will officially begin on January 17. Please be informed that any Club that has players called for National Team duty will not have fixtures on that week. Each Club will have 14 matches during the League and the tournament is expected to run through the end of May. Fixtures for the first round will be distributed at the Team Managers meeting scheduled on January 7, 2010 at the Makati Sports Club. The meeting will start at 6:30PM.

The Technical Committee as decided to allow players dropped from their club roster to register for a new club during the January Transfer window. A summary of the new ruling is as follows:

1. The Technical Director must be informed, between January 1 and January 13, of any player dropped from the club roster via email to philliphagedorn@yahoo.com.

2. Any player dropped from a roster will be allowed to join another club so long as the procedure for adding a player is followed as per UFL Rules& Regulations 2009 -2010.

3. The Technical Director must be informed, between January 1 and January 15, of any player added to a club roster via email to philliphagedorn@yahoo.com. The Club and player must complete documentry requirements as per the UFL Rules & Regulations 2009 -2010. The documents for any new players must be completed and delivered to match officials prior to his clubs first match or he will not be allowed to play. ID's for these players will be issued as soon as possible.

4. The maximum number of players added to, or dropped from, a roster remains at 8.

5. The Technical Committee will make every effort to update the list of players added and dropped during the January Transfer window on the LBC United Football League web site and Facebook page. Please ask you players to monitor these pages for updates.
