Like so many of our community institutions, Instituto Familiar de la Raza has been adversely impacted by the city’s budget cuts to public health and social services. This year, cuts result in loss of services in the area of violence prevention and family support services at a time when our community needs these servi...ces more than ever. The time is now to invest in our own community health and to take actions to ensure that community agencies like IFR remain resilient during these challenging economic times. Towards that end IFR is working with La Bohemia Productions to initiate “Hope and Healing/ Esperanza y Curación” Concert Series to sustain services for the future and to ask for community support.
