La MISSION
It is extraordinary. A film of Now, a film for us, for the emerging consciousness of what needs to happen in the heart and conscience for humanity to evolve beyond violence.

Had A GREAT time at the American Indian Film Festival last night. First "Follow Me Home" now "La Mission" is another very well written and directed story by Peter Bratt. Benjamin Bratt really brings the story to life with a cast of talented young actors some like these two brothers from the streets of the Mission District in San Francisco. Their new movie "La Mission" tells a story everyone should see, I highly recommend it if you get the chance.

Tony Bennet may have left his heart in San Francisco. But, Benjamin Bratt's La Mission will leave your heart and soul stirring. Bratt delivers a stunning performance as Che Rivera, an OG low-rider turned bus driver living in San Francisco's tough Mission District.

Enoyed the movie. It was great meeting the cast!!! I give it 5 popped collars. Now Peter Bratt needs to write a flick about HP from the Chicano eye. I can help him write it. :)

I got to be part of this -- an excellent post-film discussion where the Bratt brothers and Ms. Patel (the other producer -- hope I remember her name right!) shared so warmly and openly, almost like they were in someone's living room having a cup of tea. I hope they enjoyed their time in DC, my hometown.

Best movie I have seen in a long time. Given the subject matter, I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as I did! As part of a multi-racial, multi-cultural family, I truly appreciated the the films portrayal of the interactions between people of different backgrounds.

That movie seems really timely right now given the recent Prop 8 result. Something needs to be done to bridge the gay gap in the Hispanic community. It’s an important bridge to gap.
