Dan Stars may be seen from the bottom of a deep well that cannot be discerned from the top of a mountain: so are many things learned in adversity which the prosperous man dreams not of. We need affliction as the trees need winter, that we may collect sap and nourishment for future blossoms and fruit. The path of sorrow, an...d that path alone, leads to the land where sorrow is unknown. --Spurgeon

Dan It was 30 years ago today that we held our first public service at Woodlawn Funeral Home. There were 76 people present and the place was crowded. We were filled with faith and excitement for the future. The future is a little different than what we thought, but God has been so very good to us. I am humbled ... and grateful.

Ingrid V Midgett I loved, loved, loved the women's tea today at the church. I cant stop talking about Gail's message of Hope and Expecation. Thank you so much for having her speak at your church. I was truly blessed by her message of hope today.

Dan Margaret Oldright passed quietly into the presence of Jesus at 9:30 this morning. She spent the night comatose and probably experienced no pain. She had several strokes recently and the damage was more than her body could overcome. Service time TBA as soon as we know. Keep the family in prayer.
