A scope designed to test the integrity of composite materials used in aircraft is among the additions to Antelope Valley College’s aeronautics programs following the award of a $20,000 grant from the California Community Foundation.

A pre-game ceremony to mark completion of a major refurbishing project will be held at 6:30, followed by a 7 p.m. kickoff for the football season home opener as AVC hosts Ventura College.
Admission to the gam...e is free with donation of a canned good or non-perishable food item. Canned goods and non-perishable food items will benefit the Lancaster Homeless Shelter and Palmdale SAVES.
